Quartz Co. welcomes WANT Les Essentiels to its flagship store (5445 de Gaspé, Montreal) for a summer residency. The brand will present its signature collection and a first-look of new pieces from its Fall 2021 line. This collaboration will allow visitors to discover the timeless, minimalist and functional products of WANT Les Essentiels, alongside the high-performance outerwear collections of Quartz Co. Celebrating the shared vision of sustainability and quality construction, 5445 De Gaspé is the only place to find all the pieces of these two iconic Montreal brands.

ABOUT WANT LES ESSENTIELS

From fabrics to long-lasting design, WANT Les Essentiels is committed to making better choices to minimize its environmental impact and encourage a more responsible way of living.
WANT ORGANIC® Cotton is the brand’s signature fabric since 2010. This sustainably sourced fiber is grown without the use of chemicals, pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or GMO crops and is certified by Organic Content Standard (OCS). This organic fabric can be seen throughout the collection and is incorporated in the lining of certain bags, wallets and footwear.
The ECONYL® Recycled Nylon collection is made from an innovative yarn that transforms rescued waste that would otherwise pollute the Earth into a highly-durable regenerated nylon. This nylon can be recycled infinitely – allowing WANT Les Essentiels to promote the use of a circular material and reduce its environmental impact.
The Upcycled offering makes its debut in the WANT collection in 2019 as the brand becomes more conscious of its raw material use and inventory. Repurposing textiles presents a new way to rethink these precious resources and give them a new life through WANT’s timeless collections.
